CBD for Anxiety and Back Pain

CBD for Anxiety and Back Pain

CBD for anxiety and back pain? Let’s take a look at how this cannabinoid works and whether it could help with anxiety and back pain.

What is CBD?

CBD is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. Its anxiety-reducing properties could offer benefits for those seeking an alternative method of managing anxiety.

Earthley Wellness has an in-depth CBD guide that digs deep into how this cannabinoid works. Get your free copy here.

CBD for Anxiety

While more research is still needed, the existing clinical research provides insight into how CBD might alleviate anxiety in some people. It appears that CBD signals serotonin (helps regulate mood and reduce anxiety and depression) receptors.

Dr. James Matthew Andry, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine, points out that there is a strong basis to believe that CBD offers potential as an anti-anxiety treatment.

Personally, I find CBD vape concentrates or a dab of CBD oil under my tongue to be all I need to remain calm and under control. If I feel an anxiety attack brewing, I increase my dosage.

CBD for Back Pain

More research is needed, but numerous studies have already demonstrated the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties of this cannabinoid could reduce back pain.

CBD aids with sleep. By relaxing the body and mind, it helps people reach a restorative level of sleep that is needed to reduce pain. This is how it helps relieve pain in my body. Note that I do not use CBD alone. My pain management plan also includes cannabis (THC) and PEMF therapy.

Without a restorative night's sleep, the chronic pain I experienced from fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis only got worse. Quote from Cynthia The Disabled Diva How CBD helps with sleep.

Options

As for CBD for anxiety and back pain options, which you choose will depend on your preference. Like I mentioned above, I prefer vape concentrates. Yet, many of my friends who need it daily to maintain their anxiety prefer oil for daytime use. We all agree that edibles or oil are best for bedtime.

The only online CBD vape cartridges that I recommend are from FlavCBD. That’s because their product is always effective and reliable. Their cartridges also come in two different formulas. One is a calming formula, and the other is an uplifting one that is great for someone who battles depression. Both formulas are available in a variety of flavors. Check out their vape pens and edibles here.

Earthley Wellness has an anxiety oil that comes in three different formulas. Each is made with 100% natural ingredients. Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free, Nut-Free, Vegan. No Artificial Colors, Flavors, Fragrances, or Preservatives. They also offer a pain relief rub for muscle pain.
