My review of an affordable and effective TENS unit TechCare SE

I know many people who are fans of using a TENS unit for pain relief. However, even after trying a few different units I couldn’t see myself using one on a regular basis until now.  Even though I would experience relief after using them they all increased my pain level while in use.  The only way I wouldn’t experience a spike of pain was too decrease the intensity of my treatment.  Unfortunately, this also meant that I would experience less relief afterward.  How does TechCare differ? Read my review to find out!

I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network.  Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company. Why I love my TechCare TENS Unit

With this TENS unit, I not only have the ability to control the intensity of my treatment, but I am also able to choose from NINE different sensations.  It comes with 9 pre-programmed massage modes which include Tapping, Acupuncture, Deep Tissue, Foot, and Cupping.  Number 7 is my personal favorite.  I am able to withstand the sensation even when using it at a higher intensity.  The best part is that in addition to not experiencing additional pain, I actually feel relief during my sessions!!!

Another perk is that I am able to set different intensities for different areas at the same time.  The other day I set the intensity around my lower back higher than the electrodes placed on my neck. Instead of having to treat one area at a time, I was able to treat both at comfortable levels.  The device itself is small and extremely lightweight.  So much so that I forget that it is in my pocket or tucked into my waistband.  The device itself is easy to use and the screen lights up making it easy to use in the dark.

One complaint

My only complaint is the diagram that shows which areas to place the electrodes in order to relieve different types of pain. The print is small.  One side shows suggested areas of placement and the other explains what those areas help with.  The chart itself is awesome as it has shown me different ways to combat my pain.  I just wish it was a little easier to read.

Affordability of the TechCare TENS Unit

Besides being an effective pain relief device it is also affordable.  You won’t have to take out a loan or empty your bank account to experience the relief it provides. I highly recommend this product if you suffer from Neck Pain, Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Arthritis, Bursitis, Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica, Back Pain, Fibromyalgia, Shin Splints, Neuropathy or other Inflammation Ailments.  As I write this post I am treating my spine to a delightful massage and look forward to an evening with a lower pain level. The treatments I receive from my device has allowed me to spend more time sitting in my living room and less time lying in bed.  Talk to your doctor is you are not sure if a TENS unit is right for you and your conditions.  Click here to order your TechCare Ultimate Massager today!
