Relieving chronic muscle pain whether from fibromyalgia or another condition is no easy task! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis in 2003. Both inflict a ton of muscle pain throughout my lower back, specifically the sacrum. This muscle pain can be as debilitating as the arthritic pain from my spine.
Long-time followers of my blog know that I am someone who suffers from severe allergic or negative reactions from most medications. This is just one of the many reasons I had for beginning my journey into natural and alternative pain relief and healthcare products.
The latest pain relief device I have tried is called Solis 1100. I have been testing it out for the past 30 days with the focal point of my trial being my lower back. With that said, keep reading to learn more about this innovative device and whether or not I recommend it for fibromyalgia and muscle pain relief.

How does the Solis 1100 work?
The Solis 1100 is a unique drug-free pain management system. The advanced technology used relieves pain within minutes by triggering the body’s natural pain-blocking responses. Pain relief really is as simple as 1, 2, 3.
- Press the Solis Pain Relief System directly on the area of pain.
- Sensory nerves are triggered.
- Neural pain signals to the brain are blocked.
According to their website, the relief from Solis 1100 may provide symptomatic pain relief for 8 or more hours.
What kind of relief does Solis 1100 provide?
I didn’t know what to expect when I first tried the Solis pain relief system. But one treatment was all it took to know how beneficial it could be. The best way to describe the relief I experience from this device is that the area treated feels like it was given a shot of a numbing agent like Novocain.
To my surprise, the lower back pain relief provided by my Solis 1100 proved to be much longer than what is suggested on the site. Instead of 8 hours, I would experience 18-24 hours of relief. Experiencing such a long period of relief made it possible to treat my lower back the night before spending 11 hours riding my power wheelchair and treating my spine with my other device while at Disneyland’s A Touch of Disney event in March. Solis 1100 made it possible to enjoy my day more than if my lower back had been throbbing in pain.
I would like to note that I did NOT run treatments for as long as the directions suggested. To do so was too painful for me. Instead, I set my device to the lowest settings and only applied the device to each area for 30 seconds. With that said, to achieve relief throughout my sacrum, I would move the device to cover more of that area totalling time applied to the area to 3-4 minutes.
Adding Solis 1100 pain management system to my existing pain management plan.
After reading the manual and all guides provided, I knew where to and where not to apply treatments. Focusing only on muscle pain, I chose my lower back as my main test area. For 30 days I treated my lower back as well as a few other areas as I saw fit.
With the success of treating the pain that stems from swelling around my spine with PEMF therapy, I wasn’t about to put that relief on hold for a month. This meant finding a way to use both treatments, but not at the same time. A task that was actually easy, once I experienced the type of and duration of relief that the Solis 1100 provides.
Even though not mentioned specifically in their guides, when applying treatment with the Solis 1100 I do not run or wear my PEMF device. In fact, I typically take a 12-24 hour break. This has worked very well because of how long the relief from Solis 1100 lasted.
Why Solis 1100 for fibromyalgia and muscle pain relief?
IT WORKS!!! Obviously, it cannot address all of your fibromyalgia-related pain. Nor can it be used on all muscles due to areas that the device should not be used on. BUT, the relief it does provide is something no other pain relief device or product has ever given me.
Imagine how much more you could do if you didn’t have pain in a specific area like your lower back. Personally, it is the difference of only being able to sit in my wheelchair for an hour or two or all day. With Disneyland prepping to reopen by the end of the month, this pain management system is going to make a world of difference for future visits.
With that said, I feel the need to be very clear that Solis 1100 is NOT a fibromyalgia or muscle pain cure. Much like a pharmaceutical numbing agent or opioid, it does not address the source of pain, but it does a great job of relieving it. Fibromyalgia is not a curable condition, but the pain can be reduced with treatments, products, and lifestyle changes.
