Healthy winter skin is possible when we use products that are good for us.
Dry skin can be problematic for those already battling eczema and psoriasis and cause unnecessary pain for those who live with chronic pain.
The last thing we need this winter is for our exposed skin to become so dry that it cracks.
Today I am sharing some skincare products that will help keep your skin moisturized and healthy!

Winter skincare routine
Your skin will feel amazing when you use the following products as part of your winter skincare routine.
- Oatmeal and Honey Soap
- Soothing Skin Balm
- Calendula-Rose Body Oil
- No More Yeast
- Whipped Body Butter
- Moisturize Me
My experience with a couple of these products:
Soothing Skin Balm
I highly recommend Soothing Skin Balm for anyone with atopic dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. It eliminates the burning and itching while softening and nourishing your skin. My daughter uses it often on her eczema rashes and me on psoriasis.
Recently I found another use for this wonder balm. I am allergic to pine trees. My eyes water and swell, I breakout in hives, and have problems breathing. Because of this we celebrate Christmas with an artificial tree. But guess what?! I am also allergic to it!
I have yet to find an artificial tree, wreath, or garland that doesn’t cause my skin to breakout in hives, turn bright red, itch like the dickens, and burn like heck when my skin comes into contact with it. Although I tried not to touch it while my family assembled our tree last weekend, my right wrist suffered a painful reaction.
My first reaction was to run to the store for some Benadryl, Instead, I applied a small amount of Soothing Skin Balm and voila, immediately the burning and itching began to subside. I applied it two more times throughout a six-hour period and it no longer bothered me when I headed to bed.
No More Yeast
If you are looking for a natural yeast infection treatment, look no more! This product works faster than any over-the-counter product I have purchased in the past. I won’t lie, the odor when applying can be a bit off-putting, but it thankfully dissipates quickly and all you experience is the sheer joy of relief from the burning and itching. It takes very little of this product to quickly clear up yeast infections, thrush, and athlete’s foot. No More Yeast is a staple in my medicine cabinet.
Other products I use to keep my exposed skin healthy and happy
Rejuvenate Me! Facial Serum
The skin on my cheekbone has always been a problem area for me. No matter what the weather it was often dry, flaky, and would sometimes crack. Since using just a few drops of Rejuvenate Me! Facial Serum as part of my nighttime skincare routine, it has no longer been an issue. My face feels softer and looks better than ever.
Arnica Salve Stick
I use my Arnica Salve Stick on sore and tight muscles when on the go. In addition to relaxing muscles, it leaves my skin feeling soft and supple instead of greasy.
All-Purpose Salve Stick
I call this my wonder stick! Seriously though, when used on minor cuts, scrapes, and burns it reduces the pain and promotes faster healing than any other product I have tried. I am a bit klutzy with the curling iron and often burn my forehead. With my All-Purpose Salve Stick handy, I quickly apply it to my burn, continue to apply for a few days, and it’s gone! My only complaint about the All-Purpose Salve Stick is that it doesn’t come in a larger size!!
