June Fitness Buddy Challenge: For the Love of You!

For the Love of You! This challenge is for anyone who needs a little accountability and encouragement to help them stick to their fitness goals.  You could have fibromyalgia, an autoimmune disease, arthritis, diabetes, MS, or any other chronic illness.

One of my goals is to move my body every day.  This means in whatever form of exercise I am able to do.

If you can go for walks, that’s perfect and if not, that’s perfect too! Whether you run around the block, walk to the end of your driveway, or stretch your muscles every morning, you are welcome.

Another goal is to do something to improve or enhance our health.  This can be done through food selection and practicing self-care.

This challenge is not about killing yourself or triggering a flare in order to exercise your chronic body.  Instead, it is about figuring out how to incorporate physical movement into your day without having it disrupt your life.

Each month a challenge is issued.

Sound fun?

June challenge

Challenge: Do something to enhance your health or to care for your body, for no other reason than you love yourself.  It can be a physical accomplishment, dietary, and/or emotional because our mental health is just as important as our physical health.

The Disabled Diva is not a medical professional and does not issue medical advice.  Always seek the advice of a medical professional before starting any new exercise program.

Example: I went for a walk after a busy day. or I practiced self-control by only having one piece or chocolate…. or I am practicing patience with myself and didn’t become upset when my body required me to take a break.

It was the inflammation and pain reduction that I first experienced with PEMF therapy with Oska Pulse that made it possible to exercise again after not being able to for over a decade. Request my secret discount code here!

  1. I love that you’re doing this! I have sma and I always stress about finding ways in which I can take care of my body. Can you tell me a little more about how this works?

      1. Set their own goals… could be physical exercise, self-care practice, or food related. Members and I share ideas to help, encourage, and empower each other.
