PEMF Therapy; The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Six months ago I added PEMF therapy to my daily treatments.

For those of you who have been following my journey, you already know about many of the improvements that I have experienced.

Each pain or symptom that PEMF therapy with Oska Pulse has either reduced or eliminated has been a gift.  But the real gift it has given me is my life.  A life that I never thought was possible as long as I had fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, endometriosis, and degenerative disc disease.  Today I am going to share a few more gifts that I have been given in the past month.

Saying Goodbye

  1. Goodbye urinary incontinence!! This means no longer having to wear a diaper out of the house!!!!
  2. Pain in my feet that had been non-stop since 1999 is no longer a daily problem!
  3. Hip, spine, and sacrum pain that had been intermittent since 1999 and then fulltime since 2011 are no longer a daily hindrance!

In the past two months, the only times I have experienced pain in my feet, hips, spine, and sacrum is when I have given them a reason to hurt by pushing far beyond my limits or from weather-related flares such as heatwaves or storms.  Depending upon the severity of the pain and how often I use my Oska Pulse I am usually back on my feet within a few hours or days.

Pushing Limits

The only difficult thing about using Oska Pulse is not knowing what my limits are.  That is because I am busting through my old limits each week.

How often I am having to use my wheelchair continues to decrease.  When I visit Disneyland I am able to walk more than ever before and have even parked my wheelchair by the strollers and have entered some rides through the standard queue!!!

Something even more spectacular took place on September 8th.  My husband and I attended a Los Angeles Dodger’s game. Typically an outing like this would make us both anxious.  My husband worries about where we park, pushing me through the crowds, escorting me to the restroom, and more.  But for the first time in 17 years, neither of us gave any of those worries any thought because I didn’t need to use my wheelchair!!

I walked from the car to the stadium, up two flights of stairs and down another to get to our field seats.  I went to the restroom and grabbed food by myself without feeling like my spine was going to snap in half.

I did experience swelling in my right knee, but while watching the game I ran two treatments on it and it was fine for the rest of the evening.  The only other pain I experienced was from my torn abdominal muscle, but that too wasn’t as bad as it could have been because I also treated that while watching the game.

The next day with my Oska Pulse strapped around my waist I went grocery shopping and made dinner for my family with a pain level of around 3.  In the past, this kind of outing, even with a wheelchair, would have left me with a pain level of 9 or 10 for days or weeks.

Bring on the Future

I seriously can’t wait to see what the future holds.  I have been able to join my husband and our dog for evening walks whenever I am not too busy.  That’s right, too busy not in too much pain.

One thing I have discovered is that after years of not being able to walk for more than a few minutes here and there my feet are tender and it’s time to buy a pair of sneakers! It has been over a decade since I last bought a pair of sneakers!!!!

PEMF therapy with Oska Pulse has gifted me a life that makes my heart sing and I am going to gift myself a new pair of sneakers!

  1. Hi- did you have to work your way up to using Oska for as many hours as you do. Is there a gradual increase day to day or can you use it as much as you want all day?
