Tips For Treating Your Chronic Pain With PEMF Therapy on The Go and at Home

Do you know what I love most about treating my chronic pain with PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic fields) therapy, that is besides seeing daily improvements?  It’s being able to treat them at home and on the go.

That’s right! I am not spending hours per day, week, or month sitting in a doctors office, I am treating them at home, Disneyland, the beach, grocery store, and even at Dodgers Stadium!  Instead of using up my energy by having to go to the doctors, that energy is now spent doing what I want with the people I love.

While there are several portable PEMF devices available, my favorite is Oska Pulse.  The first reason is affordability.  Oska Pulse is the lowest-priced unit that I have found in my research. Click here to breakdown the cost of PEMF therapy with Oska Pulse.

The second reason I love my Oska Pulse is that it comes with a strap that makes it easy to treat the areas I need to no matter where I am at.

Here are some tips for treating specific pain areas while on the go or at home:

1. Knee pain

With the handy strap that comes with Oska Pulse, I am able to address swelling, inflammation, and pain in my knees anytime and anywhere. The picture above was taken Friday evening at Dodgers Stadium.  After treating my conditions daily with PEMF therapy I was able to attend the game without using a mobility aid!!

That was the first time in over a decade that I have been able to go out like I used to!! I take my device everywhere I go because I never know when my knee will decide to act up.  Climbing three staircases is what angered my knee on this evening.  Instead of worrying if I would be able to walk back to the car or even to the restroom, I strapped my device under my knee and was good to go after a few treatments.

The best part was getting to laugh with friends and watch the game all while treating my knee.  When it comes to knee pain, where I place it depends on where I feel the most swelling.  Sometimes I place it above and other times under.

2. Neck pain

Once again that handy dandy strap comes into play.  I either strap it to a neck pillow, wear the strap like a sash, or wrap it around the back of my chair.  Click here for more tips on using Oska Pulse for neck pain.  It doesn’t matter if I am in the car, pushing a shopping cart, or having my picture taken with Mickey Mouse, I am able to treat my neck anywhere!

3. Lower back, abdomen and pelvic pain, and hips

Oska Pulse works within a 22-inch radius.  Click here to see a demonstration.  This makes it possible to treat all of these areas at the same time.  Trust me I was blown away the day I realized that while I was focusing my treatment on my abdominal adhesions by placing it around my waist, it was also treating my hips, pelvis, and lower back.

The strap makes it easy for me to move the device to the area that is bothering me the most whether I am watching a parade at Disneyland or dusting off the fireplace mantel at home.

Don’t want to wear it?  Place the device in your purse or pocket, the treatment will remain the same.  Click here for more tips on treating lower back pain with Oska Pulse.

No matter what area of your body or condition you are seeking to treat with PEMF it important to keep two things in mind.

First, you must commit to using it daily.  Once a day is not enough.  It is recommended to begin your daily treatments with a minimum of 10 treatments per day.  This is easy since you don’t have to stop living in order to treat your conditions.  Each treatment lasts 30 minutes.  If you find yourself forgetting to turn the device back on, I recommend setting a timer on your phone to remind yourself.

The second thing you must remember is that Rome wasn’t built in a day, so don’t expect to feel better after one treatment or even one full day of treatment.  You must be patient.  While I experienced immediate results in regards to my abdominal adhesions, it took over two months before I noticed a significant difference with my lower back pain from degenerative disc disease and psoriatic arthritis. Results vary depending upon how often you use it and if you are addressing your pain points.  I run my device all day, every day, and move it around to focus on each of my pain points.
