Oops, I……..

Warning! If bodily functions make you queasy or uneasy, DO NOT READ THIS POST!!
Who remembers this SNL skit? Oops I Crapped my Pants….click here to watch…

Never in my adult life have I ever crapped my pants, that is until today!  I went from there’s a rumble in my tummy to exploding feces in less than 60 seconds.  I will definitely be sharing this with my doctor at my next visit. In the meantime I will track what I’ve eaten along with whether or not this becomes a reoccurring event.  The kicker is I don’t know what I want to be the cause of today’s explosive and messy incident. Was it a product of MS?  Or was it what I ate?  Both answers would really suck.  If it was because of MS, that means this may not be a one time incident.  If my dinner was the cause, I could rest knowing that days like today could be avoided by not eating the same thing again.  Too bad I really like the place where we got our take-out from….. I won’t disclose the restaurant at this time….especially since they may not even be the culprit….
So why am I sharing this with you? First and foremost to remind myself that I can and have to find humor in all situations….No matter how humiliating.  Secondly to let others know they are not alone if they find themselves in the same crappy situation.
Gentle hugs,

The Disabled Diva

  1. Hi Disabled Diva,
I’m Meg, I have MS, I write about it on my blog, and it seems we have something else in common….the ability to find the reasons to laugh, even through the crap. THIS is MY story…http://www.bbhwithms.com/tecfidera-constipation-update-the-shit-hit-the-fan/
I love your blog and would love to add it to my MASTER MS LIST – which is a new tab I am adding to the blog, with as many MS related resources as I can find.
Let me know if an add would be ok.
    Cheers, and keep smiling Diva!

      1. AWE shucks…thanks. Nice way to start out my week! Hoping to make changes/adds soon…telling people the site is getting plastic surgery! Keep in touch! I would love to know more about how you went about publishing “You Don’t Look Sick”…thinking it may be time for me to take my book “off the shelf” and share with the world… and know NOTHING about how to do that.
