When all else fails, BREATHE

I went to bed last night feeling like the dark cloud hovering over me was growing larger.  Woke up this morning feeling defeated.  That is until I checked my Twitter feed.  I want to thank my sweet spoonie friends that rallied the troops to suggest a good Rheumie in my area.  I can’t tell you how much this has touched my heart.  Next I called to make an appointment with my PC.  Thankfully he can see me on Monday, so hopefully I won’t have to go too long without pain meds.  By this time my pain level was more than I could handle, so I took a deep breath and decided to allow my body to take the nap it desired.

After my nap I hopped on the internet to see if the suggested Dr’s were on my insurance list.  Nope. 🙁    Even though I do not have Lupus, I left a message with LupusLA.org to see if they have any suggestions of Rheumies who aren’t afraid to treat pain.  I am not going to get my hopes up, nor do I plan on giving up.  I plan to breathe deeply and move forward.  Whether I find a Rheumie or end up going the “green” route, eventually I will find some pain relief.

As for tonight I am reminding myself of how much I do have to be thankful for.

Gentle hugs!
